The dark, terror filled jungle with its delicious canapé canopy, the bustling market with our Hawker’s crabby sidekick, the tranquil rest stop with tea-infused cocktail, the home cooked delights of our Peranakan house and a dancing digital glimpse of the future of The Secret Island.

Nokia Lumia Launch

Secret Location December 2013

Lucky secret agents found themselves plunged into top secret missions with high stakes and hi-tech gadgetry to defeat the evil Syndicate. Agents undertook challenges to find the top-secret Research & Tasting Facility where they continued their training. Exploring the backstreets and colourful characters of East London using the Nokia Lumia 1020’s optical zoom to get closer to the action, the intrepid spies arrived at a hidden door to their clandestine dinner destination! Guided by the Spy Master on an evening of gastronomic missions and four fabulous courses, these well-fed spies deduced the clues and detected the evil Syndicate double agents amongst them, before indulging in the celebratory brandy and (edible) cigars.

River Island Blogger’s Dinner

A Basement August 2013

Celebrating the launch of the AW13 collection we discovered a portal to the other side of the world, enticing an elite group of food and fashion bloggers into the seedy back alleys of Chinatown. Lead by a luminescent line and a trail of fortune cookies, our guests stepped under the floorboards of a well-known East London building into a busy Chinese laundry then our magical midnight Dim sum eatery for 4 courses of wine-matched Asian fusion cuisine, with a flurry of surrealist fan dancing from the fabulous Marianne Cheesecake to boot.

A Rooftop July 2013

Gingerline created a mini ‘pop-up’ picnic in a secret location in East London, where we led excited journalists and lucky guests up to a view-filled rooftop for a fabulous four hours of picnics, punch and perspective-altering props! Using the simple theme of ‘Big and Small’ guests supped amongst the Herculean ice-creams, rock-candy and deckchairs, whilst devouring mini-picnics and seaside treats.
